I had the privilege of being invited be a panellist at Tata Consultancy Services which was centred around diversity and inclusion in the industry, as part of their Black History Month celebrations.It was a very informative event and I was honoured to be able to speak about my experience with diversity and inclusion as well of the work we do at Black Girls in Tech which aims to combat these issues and increase the representation of black women in technology.Some of the key points raised during the panel discussion was centred around:
1.The need for diversity in the work place
2.The Importance of allies and amplifying voices
3.The impact of creating a more diverse and inclusive culture within the workplace
